A set of exercises to improve the condition of an inflamed prostate

Physical activity is very important to maintain health. It is also useful in the presence of certain diseases, including inflammation of the prostate. Exercise against prostatitis has been shown to have a positive effect on men’s condition and can reduce their need for medication. And this is not surprising, because even general strengthening exercises (especially for prostatitis) can significantly strengthen the immune system, improve blood circulation, and contribute to the rapid recovery of glandular tissue.

What is the useful exercise therapy for inflammation of the prostate

With regular practice of prostatitis, you can achieve noticeable improvement in a number of indicators. This effect of exercise therapy is due to the fact that a specially selected complex is directed against congestion, which is likely to trigger inflammatory processes in the organs in the pelvic floor in men. If it is too late to take action to prevent pathological lesions, there are practices for treating prostatitis that involve a complex of breathing exercises and well-developed physical exercises in the deep muscles of the pelvis, legs, and abdomen. This regimen is truly curative as it affects the symptoms and copes well with the causes of inflammation.

Physical exercises for prostatitis can get rid of the following symptoms of the disease:

  • the patient is not worried about urinary retention - an active load on the deep muscles of the pelvis activates blood flow and lymph flow, leading to a decrease in swelling of the gland;
  • the outflow of free fluid and toxins from glandular tissues reduces pain and discomfort during ejaculation;
  • due to the influx of nutrients and oxygen, the functioning of the gland is normalized, which leads to the restoration of hormonal balance and affects the general well-being of men - irritability disappears, sleep is normalized, sexual desire is restored.

In addition, increased lymph flow triggers the process of natural protection of the prostate - therapeutic practices enhance immunity, help remove the pathogenic microflora (if any) more quickly, and reduce the severity of inflammation. In addition, a series of exercises inevitably affects men’s bodies as a whole, as it strengthens the immune system, deepens breathing and fights blood clots.

Principles of practice

According to a system approved by urologists, physical exercises for prostatitis should meet the following tasks:

  • stimulant - the training therapeutic complex increases blood flow and metabolic processes that cause an increase in phagocyte activity in the prostate area;
  • therapeutic - exercises cause regeneration of damaged tissues through increased influx of nutrients into the gland area;
  • restoration - the gymnastic complex leads to the normalization of the functions of the glandular musculoskeletal system in men, the production and release of a secret;
  • protective - through the practice of prostatitis, local immunity develops, which inhibits the growth and multiplication of the pathogenic flora.

To achieve all of these goals, all practices resulting from prostatitis must be performed according to certain standards. First, physical education for prostatitis should not be used in the acute stage, which manifests itself in the form of pain and acute urinary retention. Second, the physiotherapy should be stopped immediately if there is a tangible inconvenience during its performance. Third, prostate inflammation exercises should be given enough time - at least 30 minutes a day. Fourth, in order to steadily improve the condition of men, anti-inflammatory exercises should be given time every day, not even for a day.

Types of prostatitis practices

The following phasing can be applied to prostatitis practices, which are based on the principle of complexity of their implementation:

  1. Simple - Kegel says it's a complex for men. The backbone of such complexes is the practice of prostatitis based on latent performance (hidden, invisible to others) - squeezing and relaxing the anus.
  2. Moderate difficulty - exercises that can be done in a supine or sitting position (relevant for overweight men with poor physical base). Such practices of prostatitis include "scissors, " "cycling, " swinging, scrolling on a gymnastic ball, and hip rotation.
  3. Difficult - a complex of exercises that require maintaining balance, including many muscle groups at work. Practices of prostatitis from this section include semi-squat inclines, "pendulum" exercises related to breathing exercises, "rod" exercises, and others.

All the groups listed should be included in the daily complex, and only in this case does the notion of "therapeutic" fully justify itself.

The essence of this is that in order to eliminate the inflammation of the prostate, not only the pelvic floor (muscle component) but also the back, abdomen and hips must be strengthened. An important point is the normalization of the circulatory system and the heart, which is achieved with regular exercise even in the case of prostatitis.

What exercises should be done daily

In order to eliminate inflammation, normalize blood circulation and lymph flow, and improve prostate function, it is recommended to perform the following exercises daily to treat prostatitis:

  • contractions of the anus according to Kegel - in different positions (sitting, standing, lying) 50-100 times in one approach, 2-3 approaches per day;
  • knee squats - 5-7 squats per series, at least two series per day;
  • placing the knees on the chest from a standing position (legs brought together) with a delay of 5 seconds - at least 6 repetitions, two sets per day;
  • from a semi-squatting position with a slightly tilted body, stand up, and then spread both arms and one leg to the side - 3-5 reps on each leg, two sets per day;
  • lifting the pelvis from a supine position with the legs folded and holding your breath at the apex of the posterior arch for 5 seconds - 5-7 repetitions, 2 sets per day;
  • lying on your stomach, with your hands behind your head, lift your closed legs, then spread them out and hold for a minute, then lower and balance your breathing - 2 reps, up to 3 sets a day.

In general, this complex is sufficient to normalize the condition of the prostate gland. It is important to note that if you experience pain, you will need to stop training for a few days and then repeat the workout.
